Sakshi Mehra writes contemporary crime and romantic suspense featuring complicated women, dangerous choices, sharp humour, messy relationships, and mysteries that rarely behave themselves.
She is particularly interested in characters who refuse to fit neatly into the roles expected of them, whether they are chasing a killer, making a spectacularly questionable decision, or doing both before breakfast.
Dead After Midnight introduces private investigator Honey Walia, whose talent for finding trouble is rivalled only by her inability to leave it alone.
When Sakshi is not writing, she can usually be found collecting ideas for the next crime, the next impossible relationship, and the next reason her characters should probably know better.
