1. Scope

These Terms apply to this website and do not replace a signed publishing agreement, author-services agreement, rights licence, retailer agreement or another separately executed contract.

2. Eligibility and Capacity

Anyone may view the public website. A person entering into a transaction, submitting contractual material or accepting a separate agreement must have the legal capacity and authority required by applicable law.

3. Permitted Use

Use the site lawfully for reading information, exploring books, contacting Iron Gate and using available enquiry or submission facilities for their stated purpose.

4. Prohibited Conduct

Do not interfere with the site, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, impersonate others, scrape protected content for commercial exploitation or use the site for unlawful or deceptive activity.

5. Intellectual Property

Iron Gate branding, original website content, artwork, editions and design may not be copied or commercially exploited without permission, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

6. Book Information

Book details, covers, prices, formats, publication dates and availability may change. A displayed or proposed date does not create an obligation to release a book on that date.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

Purchases and activity on Amazon, booksellers, payment providers, distributors or other external services are governed by those providers’ own terms and policies.

8. Manuscript Submissions

Manuscripts must follow the official submission procedure and are additionally governed by the Submission Guidelines & Terms. Submission never guarantees publication.

9. Professional Author Services

Manuscript submission and editorial consideration do not require payment. Publishing applicants must indicate at least one professional service/package they would be prepared to commission if accepted; that indication does not influence acceptance. If a project is accepted for publication, the author participates in the publishing partnership by commissioning at least one applicable professional service. Paid services cover only the scope, deliverables, fee, revisions and timetable agreed in writing, and payment does not guarantee acceptance, sales or another commercial outcome.

10. Rights and Adaptation Work

Any dedicated rights, adaptation or screen-development engagement is accepted only after review and written agreement on scope, fees, deliverables and intellectual-property terms. Industry decisions remain outside Iron Gate’s control.

11. Communications

You are responsible for accurate contact details. Email and messaging can experience filtering, delay or technical failure. Manuscripts are not accepted through telephone or WhatsApp.

12. Privacy

Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Website Availability

We may modify, suspend or discontinue website features for maintenance, security, operational or commercial reasons.

14. Disclaimers

Information is provided in good faith but does not amount to a guarantee of publication, sales, rankings, reviews, media coverage, distribution, rights acquisition or adaptation.

15. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Iron Gate is not responsible for losses caused by third-party platforms, interrupted access, user error, inaccurate information supplied by visitors or events outside reasonable control.

16. Changes

These Terms may be amended to reflect changes in the website, business operations, publishing practices, technology or law. The revised version becomes effective when displayed with an updated date unless otherwise stated.

17. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to mandatory law, competent courts having jurisdiction over Charaideo district, Assam, will have jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms.
